On this episode of Hungry for More, Al Smith interviews internationally known speaker, best-selling author and award-winning journalist Dr. Paul Thigpen Phd.

Paul is a Catholic husband and father who holds the position of Editor for TAN Books.

Paul has published forty-three books in a wide variety of genres and subjects including his most recent, Put on the Armour – A Manual for Spiritual Warfare (2014).

Paul has published more than five hundred journal and magazine articles in more than forty religious and secular periodicals.

Paul graduated from Yale University and earned his PhD from Emory University in Historical Theology. He has served on the faculty of several universities and colleges.

Formerly an ordained Protestant Pastor, Paul entered the Catholic Church in 1993. Since then, he has served the Church in many ways including on the National Advisory Council for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Paul is a theologian, historian, apologist, evangelist and catechist. He speaks freely at conferences, seminars, missions and parish events all over the world.

During the program they discuss the contents of Dr. Paul’s latest book,  Put on the Armour – A manual for spiritual warfare.  They place a special emphasis on how to use this manual on a daily basis to engage in spiritual warfare.

To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, ¹⁹ and also for me, that utterance may be given me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in chains; that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
