UPDATE 7/17/2023: Frank LaRose has officially announced his plans to run for senate. His announcement has been posted to his official Twitter account.
Ohio’s secretary of state may be planning a senate run according to well placed sources. In a press release to inside backers, Frank LaRose requested the presence of individuals for a major announcement on Monday, July 17.
“I’ve had a lot on my mind lately,” LaRose said in the release. “Like you I am concerned about the direction of our country and as the father of little girls, I’m not willing to sit quietly while the Woke Left tried to cancel the American Dream. We have a duty to fight back…and I want to share with you my plans to do just that. Join me for a brief, but important conference call tomorrow evening, Monday July 17 at 7:30 p.m.”
According to multiple outlets, LaRose has been planning to dip his toes into the proverbial senate waters for some time but has not officially made any announcements. Additionally, LaRose’s twitter has been awash in teases for his anticipated announcement, and it appears the July 17 conference call may be the time it happens. The proposed conference call tomorrow evening is suspected to be the time where LaRose will finally come clean about his plans to run for senate office.
“As a soldier, I’ve spent most of my life serving and fighting for my country,” LaRose said in the press release. “I’m ready to do it again. The choices we make in the coming days will decide the future of our great state and nation for the rest of our lives. This next mission is THAT important.”
